# Setting up Hotjar

[Hotjar](https://www.hotjar.com/) is a behaviour analytics tool that analyses website use, providing feedback through tools such as heatmaps, session recordings, and surveys. 

You can easily integrate Hotjar on your website with our Hotjar add-on

### How to set up HotJar add-on

First, you need to enable the **Hotjar Add-on** (`Add-ons` Tab -> Analytics).

Then you need to insert **Site ID** that you can find on the HotJar website. 
###### To find the ID: 

1. Sign in to your [Hotjar account](https://insights.hotjar.com/) and in your dashboard click on **Add new site**:

2. Fill in the necessary fields and click **Add site**

3. Now you need to install and verify the tracking code in order to get Site ID. Click on the **gear** icon:

Then click on the **Verify tracking code installation**.

4. Select the manual installation method and click on the **Add code manually** button:

5. On the next window, copy your site ID:

and paste it to the Side ID field in the Hotjar add-on settings:

6. Then, back on Hotjar installation code page click on **Verify installation** button to verify your integration:

And that's it! Your Hotjar integration is successfully installed!
